fightingcanucks: this is the commonwealth cemetary in goose bay labrador, 28 of its graves hold airmen from the RCAF killed in plane crashes in WWII. i used to live about 10 minutes from there. it is a lovely sheltered little cemetary and its good to see that its not been forgotten I’m not sure, but I heard this cemetery burned over the weekend during the forest fire that broke out just outside the airport. I sure hope not though, that place in one of the last relics of what Goose Bay used to be.
